Troubleshooting my chamberlain garage door opener sensor no light.
A common cause of a malfunctioning garage door sensor is lack of power supply.
This does not apply to garage door openers that use a work light that is separate from the garage door opener.
From informational videos to product manuals and troubleshooting articles the chamberlain group resource library has the information you need.
If they re turned on in both the sensors then there is no issue with the power supply.
The clicking noise you are looking for is the sound that comes from the relay on the circuit board.
The circuit board on your garage door opener will have to be replaced if you want your light to function properly.
Manually lift the garage door and release it when it is opened halfway when the door is appropriately balanced it will neither move up or down but stay in place supported by the springs.
Sensor power reconnect the sensor to its power supply.
If you do not hear a click coming from the motor housing then the relay on the circuit board is bad.
Look for small led lights on the sensors.
If you do not hear a click replace the logic board.
